Rotary Club of Portales
Thank you Rotary Club of Portales for such a wonderful visit. The club is very active in their community and continues to make a difference. They are in the process of upgrading the local Rotary Park, sponsored two students to attend RYLA, sponsoring an outbound Youth Exchange Candidate and supports the Rotary Club of Clovis with the Belize Wheelchair project. The club holds an annual pork chop lunch fundraiser that helps pay for all their projects. President Chris Wood has this club focused and motivated. Great job!
Rotary Club of Mountainair
I had such a great time at the Rotary Club of Mountainair. This is a small club that has a huge impact in their community. Michele and I had the opportunity to attend their steak dinner fundraiser last May and the money they raise goes towards scholarships. Every member of this club is active and getting so many things done for their community. Keep up the good work Rotary Club of Mountainair!

Rotary Club of Clovis Christmas Party
I was honored to be able to attend the Rotary Club of Clovis Christmas Party. The Rotary Clubs of Clovis High Plains, Melorse and Portales also attended. A great time was had by all! A silent auction was held with the proceeds benefitting Polio Plus and President Tammy Garner did a wonderful job as MC.

Rotary Club of Albuquerque Rio Grande
What an active and exciting club. The Rotary Club of Albuquerque Rio Grande has made a $4,000 to Peanut Butter and Jelly, a $1,200 donation to buy turkeys that the club members give to the needy, a $2,500 donation to Reading Works and provides 15 families at Navajo Elementary with Thanksgiving Dinner. The club holds a huge golf tournament that raises approx. $40,000 and I had the privilege of playing in the tournament this year. Thank you Rotary Club of Albuquerque Rio Grande for all you do to make a difference in people's lives. Keep up the good work!

Rotary Club of T or C
My visit to the Rotary Club of T or C started with a dinner the night before with club members and a group of youth from the community. A great time was had by all including the young people who each stood up and told me all about themselves. President Deborah Valencia spent the morning with me showing me the sites of T or C. We visited the Veterans Memorial Park and Hamilton Military Museum. If you are ever in T or C, I would recommend you take the time and visit this great site. What a wonderful club that has many projects working to help their community. The club sent four youngsters to RYLA and will participate with the Four Way Essay contest. Thank you Rotary Club of T or C and keep up the great work!
