O.V. #46 RC of Las Cruces 11-17-10

President Richelle (whose alter ego goes by 'Trixie') has got it together.  They have a board on the wall as folks come to get their badges that has the my guest cards and other information available to assist members with inviting members.  On this board is also a list of the names of folks who have invited new members into the club this year as well as the name of the members.  

They list the new member sponsors prominently on their bulletin.  Organizationally well put together, this club steeped with 'tenure' really has a lot going for it and has a very motivated core group.  They are a good place to get a make up and the food is very good at Lorenzo's de Mesilla....  Great job of making it happen RC Las Cruces.

O.V. #45 RC of Las Cruces Rio Grande 11-16-10

Active, dynamic, fun.... Such is the RC of Las Cruces Rio Grande.  Lots of district leadership has been generated from this club... lots of energy.  President Vic is onboard with many of the 'Tool Kit' items as well they are the club I mention in my 'official' talk as the one who preys on the ignorance of its new members by requiring every new member to sign a commitment form to bring in a new member within their first six months of membership.  They are doing a great job and still wanting to increase their influence through membership growth.  Thanks for the great reception at Laura's house on Monday night.  Thank you also to my great hosts for the three nights stay: Loren and Nancy.... great place and love the dogs!  rough rough....

O.V. #44 R.C. of West El Paso 11-15-10

Organized.... this group is.... President Lorraine runs a good ship and this is club is one of the top 8 clubs in membership growth for the year.  Very active with their flagship event, the RC of West El Paso 4th of July Parade.  BIG DEAL.... over 10k spectators this past year... (see my first blog entry).  Great group with a very active membership.  Several key district leaders call RC W. El Paso home.  They are also strong with the matching grant program.  Kudos to a great club and thanks for the hospitality... I needed the rest!

O.V. #43 RC of Tucumcari 11-11-10

Veteran's Day in Tucumcari.  Boy if this town gets the race track they are shooting for it will totally change the complexion of the community and positively affect this Rotary Club.  Good I-40 club. Good food as well at the Pow Wow Inn.  President Nancy and Past President Larry were really frank as to how the economy of their local community has affected their club over the past several years.  They make a huge impact in their community, and are wanting to grow, just having a hard time finding folks to 'play ball'.  Ton's of potential and a good club to get a make up at if you are in the neighborhood. Thanks guys for sticking with it!

RC CBad Paul Harris and new member inductions 11-3-10

10 new members for the year, 6 installed this club meeting!  RC Carlsbad is very aggressive and making 'it' happen... .all while retaining.  Also awarded 4 Paul Harris'.  This is obviously exciting to see.  So right now CBad is in the lead for bringing in the most members, followed by Angel Fire.  Good job guys, keep up the great work down south!

O.V. #42 RC of Belen 10-27-10

President George is one of those who has served as Club President multiple times.  He still has an excited attitude toward Rotary even the second time around (as does the rest of his club).  They are eagerly awaiting the 'spring board' that is going to get their club back on track.  I am excited for this club in that it's all there, they just have to figure it out.  Strong leaders are in this club and they do make an impact.  Thank you guys for sticking with it!  I am looking forward to seeing what happens with this group over the next twelve months.

What a great little club!  President Arnold and crew are doing a good job at extension and retention of membership.  Very involved throughout the community.  Good food at Rib's BBQ joint.  Also, big thanks for the hospitality Cordova family, lots of fun!
