Rotary Club of Las Vegas

Founded in 1920, the Rotary Club of Las Vegas is active and getting a lot done in their community.  They have a group of Rotarians who are "doers" and have wonderful plans for the new Rotary year.  We inducted new member Ben Boothe at the meeting, who is sponsored by President Kayt Peck.  It is always exciting when a new member is inducted!!

Rotary Club of Clayton

Talk about a club making a difference in their community!  The Rotary Club of Clayton has so many wonderful things going on.  For example, they give several scholarships each year to students at Clayton High School.  They hold an Old Western Dance in April.  They also do a BBQ/Hamburger tailgate party at homecoming.  In addition to all of that, they have a program called "Nick Payton Christmas Baskets" where they deliver 80 to 90 baskets of food to needy families in their community.  I had such a wonderful time visiting this club.  A special "thank you" to Assistant Governor Lisa O'Brien who drove all the way from Taos to attend the meeting. This club was chartered in 1919.  President Nick Brown is the third generation serving as President of the Clayton club.  How cool is that?!
