Rotary Club of Deming

I had such a good time at the Rotary Club of Deming.  The club is accomblishing so many wonderful things in Deming!  They give two large scholarships to graduating seniors, hold the October Fest at the country club, put on a Formal Winter Ball, and support RYLA just to mention a few!  A special "thank you" to PDG Tom and PE Linda Lindsay for hosting a dinner at their home and allowing me to stay with them.  They are such wonderful hosts!!  Thank you President Micki Shillito for your leadership!  Keep up the good work!!

Rotary Club of Silver City

What a wonderful club that keeps busy!  They sent six youngsters to RYLA, submitted three applications for team member positions for GSE, give two $1500.00 scholarships to high school seniors, participate in the bike rodeo with the Kawanis Club and have many other plans to give back to the community.  A special 'thank you' to President Wayne Barnard for making me feel so welcome!!  Keep up the great work!

Rotary Club of Elephant Butte

What a fun club!  The Rotary Club of Elephant Butte gives six $500 scholarships to graduating seniors, they are planning a wine tasting event, they are very active with RYLA and give a presentation about RYLA to the whole junior class at the high school and they have a luminaria walk that is held in December.  President Blanca Barrera has this club focused and they are accomplishing many things for their community.  Thank you so much for your hospitality Rotary Club of Elephant Butte!

Rotary Club of Socorro

President Gerry Klinglesmith is doing a wonderful job with the Rotary Club of Socorro.  The club sells calendars to raise money, they have a very active Interact Club, they give dictionaries to over 250 8th graders in Socorro and Magdalena, they participate in the District Simplified Grants program for resource bags for diabetics and they host a Wine Tasting Party to raise money for college scholarships.  And this is just to mention a few things.  What an active club!

Rotary Club of Los Lunas

The Rotary Club of Los Lunas is full of energy and gets a lot done in their community.  They are very active in RYLA, participate in at least 4 blood drives a year, give over $5,000 worth of clothes to needy families during Christmas, has a student of the month program from their two high schools and gives dictionaries and a presentation about Rotary to all 3rd graders.  Talk about a busy Club!  President Marvin White has some great goals this year.  GREAT JOB Rotary Club of Los Lunas!!
